A Conversation With...Me

This is a recent interview I did for the Illinois Education Association in response to my Illinois Teacher of the Year Award. I wanted to get across some key ideas and I feel that they did a nice job with the video. However, I have to admit an error in my statements in regards to the Collaboreyes Project. The two good friends do not work in Kansas but in Nebraska. I am not sure why I goofed that up in the video...must have been the pressure of the camera. :)

  2. Nicely done, Josh. Nathan had me at "he gives me an urge to get his approval" and "he has a good aura around him". You must be really proud. By the way, I am looking forward to receiving my Collaborize Lenses. Maybe they are in that batch you just sent out.:-)

  5. Okay…. Deleted the post and trying again; felt like it was a bunch of rambling thoughts! (last time I post with my 3 year old running around me singing “Jingle Bells”). Congrats on your award and accomplishments this past year. You are doing amazing things with connecting the world, Josh. I liked your reference to Pandora’s Box in your video. You never know what you are getting yourself into when you take the risk of trying something new. But the chances you have taken with your blogs- posting your ideas, experiences, and questions- have motivated so many students and people. There is no going back, but you opening your “box” has released nothing but good upon the world. Hope exists among us… Keep up the inspiration! ~Celina
